Zac

Verse 1

Now, listen, everybody, this man Zac says,
"Look! I'm here and I'm collecting taxes!"
So, Zac was rich, and he had lots of money,
took more than he should from everyone, he was not popular

Jesus can change a life, he can turn a life around
He comes to find and help up people that are down

Verse 2

Then, one day Jesus came down to Jericho,
causing Zac to want to come say "Hello!"
But Zac had trouble: he was very short,
while crowds were tall, he couldn't see, so thought
"I'll go climb up that tree"

Verse 3

So, now that Zac had climbed up high,
he could see Jesus, who could see Zac up in the tree
Then, Jesus noticed Zac was there all alone,
said, "We're going to have our lunch at your home, today!"

Verse 4

While Zac was tumbling down,
the crowd were grumbling,
frowning,
through the town in Jericho
But Zac gave back the cheated money, put things right,
and gave money to the poor; Jesus delighted in Zac
